This is my first 'real' CO2 regulator and I love it!

I say it's my first 'real' one because I've used the complete kits before like a tropica kit. This one has been great to use, easy to set up and I now have it running on 2 aquariums ( I plan on connecting them all ). I'd highly recommend this to anyone thinking of injecting co2. Their postage is absolutely amazing, it arrived so quickly to the UK I was genuinely surprised. Their customer service is world class, any question is answered, any issue is dealt with. They're really friendly.

Overall I'd absolutely suggest people get this regulator over the single regulator as it future proofs as you can add more manifolds!

Can I give it 0 stars?

So, I just got a new Pro Elite regulator and it is scratched in multiple places and looks used. There is no instruction manual, the front dial looks like someone poured acid over it and the solenoid is at a funky angle. I don't want to risk CO2 intoxication. For 200+ GBP, I would have expected a positive experience. This is why I didn't go for the cheap one. Absolutely disappointed. I was so happy when I bought it and so regretting it now. The answer is no, I can't give it 0 stars because the website won't let me. Also I wasn't able to test it because I don't want to risk anything with the solenoid at that angle so I will send it back A.S.A.P.

I'm very sorry to hear about how disappointed you are about the quality of our regulator. I fully understand your feeling that for the price you paid you would expect something which will look like a new phone. Unfortunately, the production process of our regulators is completely different from shiny mobile phones. Our regulators are heavy-duty regulators build to last years (Pro-Elite regulator comes with 10 years warranty). Every regulator is assembled manually with power tools, then tested on several different machines. This includes manual attaching and detaching the regulator from the testing machines. Our technical team is trying to keep care when handling the regulators, but sometimes things like scratches or damaged front logo sticker happen. Those issues do not affect product functionality. During the installation when the regulator will be installed on high-pressure CO2 cylinder, the surface will be scratched anyway (maybe not the gauge, but definitely regulator's nut). We are more than happy to replace the regulator for you, but we can't guarantee the regulator will look like product which is assembled in gloves in the filtered air environment. You will receive heavy-duty CO2 regulator build to work with high pressure gases for many years. In regard to the solenoid, this part is adjustable so you can move it around; in some cases customers rather have it directed to the back. It is designed to be moved around as per customer requirement. Again, I would like to assure you that this regulator is not used. It was only tested by our assembly team. All our manuals are available online via the support portal (help.co2art.co.uk), the card with the link was included in the regulator's box. We do not print manuals as we feel that this would be a paper (trees) waste. We assuming that all our customers have internet access and are able to access the online link. The support portal will give text / video manuals and instructions showing how to use our equipment. On top of that, our support team is available there to help and give detailed instruction in case of the question during the installation.
